DAY #12 - More around Utah happenings!!
You may recall that I dropped my iPhone back in Omaha, Nebraska last week while staying in a hotel. Actually it fell off the counter and on to a tile floor!! Well, we apparently got a defective screen that was installed! Not good. The screen kept cutting off....constantly. We had to have that new screen replaced, so the morning was spent having that taken care of at this place. Nice folks. I feel like we have the problem resolved! We have mailed the defective screen back to Omaha and they say they are going to refund us! Fingers crossed!!
We decided to drive by the Mt. Timpanogas Temple since we were close by. Beautiful temple, as all of the temples are beautiful!
We were amazed at just how busy it was.....especially for a weekend and in the middle of the day.
And a selfie was in order!
As we drove back to Andy and Geralyn's home, we had just pulled in front of their home. We heard a loud crashing sound only to realize that a car had come around their corner and sideswiped a truck parked in front of a home! Say what!!! Dad went to investigate. We moved our van IN A & G's driveway, not in front of their home. Just to be on the safe side!!
A little puzzle time with Ethan....
Tyler came over to visit with all of us.....and the 'boys' decided to play a little table game of some kind. They acted just like high school kids!
Emsley came over as well. How fun to be with everyone for a little bit.
Ethan did a great job taking a foto of us 'adults' around the table chilling out. Hollie had to work until 11:00 p.m. so she was not able to come. We'll stop by their apartment a little later so we can see her.
The sunset did not disappoint tonight.
Emsley did a little 'modeling' of a mermaid-afghan I am making. I needed to have the measurements checked for what was needed. Fun that it worked out perfectly for her to 'model' it for me!! Thanks Emsley!!
As the night wound down, Harley was pooped. He hopped up on Geralyn's lap to chill out.
