DAY #13 - Lindon to Mapleton

We have been staying at Andy and Geralyn's home since arriving in Utah on Monday.  Not long enough.....wish we had more time.  But, we are grateful for what we have.  Today we 'moved' down to Mapleton to Kevin and Lauren's home.  We had errands to do along the way.  One of those stops was at Target in Orem.  We were walking out of the store to our car (having purchased a couple of Sharpie pens!) and this gal started walking fast toward us and gave us a big hug and asked how we were.  Low and behold, it was Lydia Daniels Petersen!!  Didn't expect to see her here, especially in the parking lot!!  How fun is this.

We just can't com to Utah without going to our beloved BYU Campus bookstore.  Things had changed just a little bit....including COSMO sitting on a bench....just waiting for a foto op!  And we took advantage of it.  After all, this is dad's alma mater.

Yes, the 'Y' on the mountain....we will NOT be climbing it this time.

We typically always stop at the BYU Creamery as well....and those delicious chocolate mini brownies!!  We bought them out.....as usual.

For 19 years in a row, BYU is the #1 COLD STONE SOBER COLLEGE in the U.S.A.  And they have bottles of chocolate milk to prove it!!  Yes, we bought one.  Of course.

FINALLY made it to Mapleton.....and it was time for DRONE BONDING TIME!!!!  That is a cool little machine.  Now, of course, Dad wants one.

 After making a COSTCO run I found this sunset driving back to K & L's home.  I pulled over on the road so I could capture it.  Of course.

 And, we continue our UTAH adventure.......savoring every minute of our time here with family and friends.
