DAY #14.....More UTAH happenings!

Dad and I headed up to Salt Lake City.....we divided and conquered.  I dropped Dad off at his sister home, Mary Fedderson.  He visited with her while I met up with Lu Duke and Kathleen Moorehead at Brio's Italian Restaurant for lunch.  What fun to catch up with what is going on in their lives.

It was a GREAT lunch.  We shared the lava brownie sundae!  It was so fun to spend a bit of time with them.

 There was a horrible truck accident on the I-15 and traffic was horrendous!  We were detoured part of the way back town to Mapleton.  At least we got to enjoy the pretty fall colors in the mountains.

Meanwhile back down at K & L's home, Kevin had put some cool lights (that change color) up in their kitchen along the tops of the cabinets.  They look really nice.

It is time to put a few more up......so Dad helped with that project.

We were able to go see a movie tonight with K & L.  As we drove out of their development, I noticed that beautiful HARVEST MOON over Maple Mountain.  So cool!!

We went to see SULLY!  What a great movie.  We really enjoyed it.  This was our first movie in more than 2 years.  Actually, I am not sure when we saw a movie last time.

Just to prove we were there......

 After the movie we decided to drive up to the PROVO CITY CENTER TEMPLE.  I wanted to see it at night.  It is so pretty.

 We got home later than we should have been out but it was fun.  And the adventure continues.....
